Update: Now that the voting has been completed, I am planning to go to Paris that day. If you have any suggestions for things to see and do in Paris on a budget, please let me know!
I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this post. This is very real and a dream come true as we will have the most amazing 24 hours next week. Let’s start from the beginning….
Did you know that if you win £1 million you will earn £2,739.72 per day for a year!!?
Imagine a year full of epic days, big shopping, sumptuous dining, five-star hotels, and amazing vacations. I get goosebumps just thinking about it!
I know I’m not the only one who buys a lottery ticket and thinks they’ll actually win. Every time I play, I start planning my adventure and deciding how I’m going to share it with my friends and family.
It has become a popular game for long road trips and sleepless nights. This is a game of “What would be the first thing you would buy if you won the jackpot” that never gets old.
So when I received an email from the National Lottery asking if I wanted the chance to become a millionaire that day, I really couldn’t say no!
Yes, it really happened. An email arrived in my inbox inviting me to live like a millionaire for 24 hours.
As you can imagine, my immediate reaction was to start skipping and dancing around the house like a loon. Once I was properly out of breath, I started imagining where she could go and what she could do in her 24 hours as a millionaire, but I got excited again and started skipping and dancing again. I am so excited that I seriously have to stop myself from skipping and dancing while writing this email.
As a way of celebrating the fact that every Wednesday in May you have an extra chance to become a millionaire with the Lotto thanks to an extra £1 million prize in the raffle (on top of the regular jackpot), we’re introducing this I was given a great opportunity!)
It’s time to decide what you’ll do with over 2,700 pounds for 24 hours. I’d like to help you make a choice.
My Millionaire Lifestyle starts on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:30pm, in time for that week’s lottery draw where someone’s ticket can make them a real millionaire, and on Wednesday the 20th. It ends at 7:30 p.m.
I haven’t been abroad since I was 26 weeks pregnant with George, so I’d love to get on a plane and travel. I’m thinking of a city vacation in a 5-star hotel, extensive shopping, and a luxurious experience. And of course, there will be some surprises for you too!
Which of these cities do you think is best for a billionaire to visit?
- Paris
- Berlin
- Barcelona
Let us know which cities you think we should visit and how you would spend your £2,739.72 in 24 hours!
this will all take place on May 19th and 20th and I will be sharing my trip on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using the hashtag #24hrMillionaire.
