Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case – Is this the perfect carry-on for women? - Travel Hack

I’m so excited to say that my Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case is finally ready!!

Please note that the inside of this suitcase is light pink instead of the original hot pink.

We worked with a company called Cabin Max to design the perfect women’s cabin case.

I’m so proud of this case because it’s literally my dream cabin bag with all the features I’ve wanted to have for years.

It has compartments for everything (but not all is lost with too many small pockets!) and what’s even better is that each pocket and compartment is easily accessible. This means you can easily access everything while traveling.

I was so tired of hard shelled suitcases where I had to open the whole case to get the little things out!

Here are some other reasons why I love The Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case (and why I think you will too!)

The Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case Features

    • It has a large compartment at the top (this is my favorite feature!) and can be used as a handbag when traveling on airlines that annoyingly only allow one carry-on. You can also use it for liquids (to avoid the awkwardness of rummaging through your suitcase at security) and other items you’ll want to grab quickly once you’re on the plane. It’s also ideal for storing cameras, delicate items, shoes, food, and other items that you don’t want to touch your clothes.
    • Quite large (main compartment is 28 liters)
    • Perfect dimensions so it is accepted as carry-on baggage on most airlines
    • 55cm x 40cm x 20cm so even stingy airlines like Ryanair will accept it
    • It’s black and rose gold, and the thick rose gold zipper is gorgeous!
    • A combination of nice soft faux leather and more durable 600D PU material, so it’s stylish but you don’t have to worry about bumps and scratches (it’s both practical and stylish!)
    • lightweight at just 2.7kg, it not only provides plenty of space but also leaves enough weight for your belongings
    • large padded laptop pocket on the back allows you to easily access your laptop or iPad while traveling
    • There are many inner pockets so it is easy to organize
    • Convenient water bottle holder on the side
    • Comes with a strong and durable handle
    • Large handle on top, easy to lift and carry
    • That’s beautiful!!

A cabin case with a handbag compartment

Finally, a cabin case with a handbag compartment is now available!

Honestly, I don’t know why there aren’t more in-flight suitcases with handbag compartments!?

One of the biggest hassles when traveling with hand luggage is that you can often only bring one bag on the plane. This means you’re trying to shove your handbag into your suitcase to catch a flight, and the next moment you have to take it out again. I’ll take a seat.

The Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case puts an end to this struggle by allowing you to easily slip your handbag into the top handbag compartment when boarding a plane and easily remove it once you’re seated.

Even if you don’t use it as a handbag, it’s a very useful pocket for stuff you want to easily access at the airport or on the train.

A Cabin Case with a top toiletries pocket

Another use for this handbag’s top compartment is to store cosmetics and technology that you need to take out of your suitcase during airport security.

When going through airport security, you will need to remove all large electronic devices and liquids.

I find this process surprisingly stressful (especially if you’re flying from Manchester Airport, which is very strict and very mean!)

I hate opening suitcases and digging around for liquids and technology!

But with the Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case, you can put all of these items in the top compartment so you can easily take them out and place them on your security belt.

That way you don’t have to open the main case and can put the entire suitcase on your security belt.

What size is The Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case?

The Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case measures 50cm x 40cm x 20cm so it can be used as an in-flight case for most airlines, including Ryanair!

The size and shape are a little special, a little taller and thinner than a typical suitcase. Upon arrival, many people find it too big, but in fact it is the perfect size to maximize every centimeter of your luggage allowance. This cabin case is the largest possible and therefore the best value for money!

Most carry-on cases are too thick to be accepted as carry-on luggage. Also, if the width is right, it will be much shorter than it actually is and you will lose a lot of space!

The integrated telescopic handle and tucked away wheels

Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case – Is this the perfect carry-on for women? - Travel Hack

One of the genius design features of the Travel Hack Pro Cabin Case is its integrated telescoping handle. The handle is pushed directly into the suitcase with a zippered cover, so it’s fully integrated and doesn’t stick out and add extra bulk, making your suitcase unnecessarily large.

the same applies to wheels. The wheels don’t stick out at all! Many suitcases have four wheels that protrude by 3-4 cm, and valuable space is lost from the case. It doesn’t really matter when you’re traveling with a large suitcase, but when you only have a small carry-on case, every centimeter counts. Every centimeter counts, especially when you’re trying to squeeze in your last pair of shoes and wish you had them. Just a little more space!

The laptop compartment

The back of the cabin case has a large laptop compartment. This pocket is padded, but also large enough to add your laptop inside the laptop sleeve you normally use.

This extra large laptop pocket was a feature I really wanted. As well as people traveling with oversized laptops, I also like to have my laptop in a padded sleeve when I arrive, but I find it annoying when my suitcase doesn’t have enough space. The laptop pocket has space to store your laptop inside the sleeve.

So how did this collaboration come about?

This cabin case was created in collaboration with a company called Cabin Max, a local company that we have worked with several times in the past. Cabin Max specializes in creating just the right size baggage to meet airline restrictions. They make the most of every centimeter allowed, so you can get the biggest bag possible without worrying about having to check it in (if the bag is big) (Too much so you have to pay extra!) Their bags are not only really good quality but also really good. Most are reasonably priced at around £40 to £50.

Everything about Cabin Max fits perfectly into the ethos of The Travel Hack. They create high-quality, affordable products that make traveling a little easier.

Cabin Max contacted me and asked if I would be interested in working with them on the design of their “Travel Hack Cabin Case.” As you can imagine, I was pretty excited!

As you may have noticed, I’ve reviewed many pieces of luggage on The Travel Hack in the past. I’m definitely a “bag girl” and love bags of all shapes and sizes. I love designer handbags, canvas shoppers, family-sized suitcases, and more!

Of all these bags I’ve reviewed, I haven’t found one that’s “just right.” It’s either a little too big, a little too small, difficult to pull, expensive, low quality, or the pockets and pouches aren’t stocked properly. They were always good, but never great.

I arrived at my first design meeting with Cabin Max with a list of things I wanted in a bag, but the conversation quickly turned into a conversation about travel, airports, airport security, packing, and the stress of traveling. From this conversation came many ideas for the perfect cabin bag.

When you’re at the airport, you see a lot of people stressing about security. It’s like a security guard yelling orders at you, listing rules, shoving a sandwich bag in your face, and telling you to take out just about everything in your suitcase. This is the moment when you are rushing through the conveyor.

i see people opening their entire bags, showing everyone in the line all their stuff, rummaging through their clothes while looking for liquids, and struggling to squeeze laptops, iPads, and Kindles out of tiny compartments.

Wouldn’t it be easier if there was one easy-access pocket on the top of your case that you could just pop open and get everything out?

Then, when the plane is ready to board, the flight attendant tells all the women to put away their handbags, and we see them trying to shove them into their suitcases along with their shoes, toiletries, and clothes. This is a pain…but even more so when you get on a plane and immediately want to put your handbag back on. So you see all the women on the plane islands trying to wiggle it back together without everything else fitting into their cases.

So what about camera equipment? Any photography enthusiast knows how difficult it can be to travel with a camera and lens. I actually bought this cheap camera pouch on Amazon and inserted it into the top pocket of my Travel Hack Cabin Case and it worked perfectly as a camera compartment.

Virtually everyone has different needs for this top compartment, and I think everyone uses it differently.
