With only a few days left until my due date, all I can think about is babies, babies, babies.
I’ve been dying to decorate my kids’ room, but they’ve been living with my parents for the past few months because they’re renovating their new room. This is a large project that seems to get bigger every month as we add new rooms and come up with new ideas for the house.
Now that we’re promised to be in the house by June, we can finally start thinking about the fun part: decorating!
The room I’m most looking forward to decorating is the baby’s room. The obvious theme throughout the home is travel, and The Baby Travel Hack’s bedroom is no exception…
I already ordered and got this amazing world map mural wallpaper from Mural Wallpaper. There are several different map designs to choose from, but I chose the most baby-friendly ones so you can start teaching them about the world from an early age. You might even be able to customize it and add your own photos of the places you’ve visited.
This crib from IKEA later turns into a cute little toddler bed.
Another great deal from IKEA. These draws have the option of adding a changing table on top. This can be removed in the future and used like a normal set of draws.
I really like this height measurement wall sticker. I had seen some giant wooden rulers that could be mounted on the wall, but they were all very expensive. This is a great option from his Etsy for £22.50.
This little Sound Buddy is already set up and ready to put your little boy to bed. Well, that’s the plan anyway! The soft monkey has a Bluetooth speaker on its belly that can be attached to your mobile phone to play music.
I love this vintage map lampshade. Wouldn’t it be weird to have one in every room in the house?
Another cute find on Etsy. These letter blocks can be ordered to spell out anything you like.
Because life is an adventure and this is the lesson I want to teach my children. I have a lot of prints on Etsy, but this is my current favorite.
